Ruwani Abeyratne is a professional makeup artist and skin care specialist based in Los Angeles. From fine arts to photography, cosmetics to dancing, she's always had a fascination with creativity and expression.
In 2012, Ruwani enrolled in E.I. School of Professional makeup to study a full range of makeup artistry. While working on beauty to special effects, Ruwani harnessed her skills an an artist. After graduating with a certification in Artistry of Makeup, she has worked on a number of projects including short films and private events.
Ruwani continues to educate herself through product knowledge, workshops, and special events for industry professionals. In 2017, she graduated from an esthetics program, where she studied facials, hair removal, skincare products and ingredients, and lash extensions.
She also completed an internship with Poise Makeup Professional, working events such as the International Makeup Artist Trade Show.
